Huge fan of her poetry books but not really for this :/。

Mirai Amor

Story is dragging, some scenes are too long/irrelevant。 I am disappointed。

Abdullah Al Kindi

Cutsie teenage romance, didn’t stand out。

This was a really disappointing book。 There was a lack of substance to it。 I forced myself to finish it just because I hate not finishing things。 I was really hoping for a good book, the cover was lovely and I adored the author but this was not it。

Probably one of the most intricately layered books I have ever read。 There are so many twists and turns in the book, which led me buried in the book for hours on end。 I finished it in 2 nights - it was just that good。

If you are here for an honest review, here I am to give you a short, and spoiler free review。 I have honestly enjoyed reading this book, the characters were interesting and the background was comfy and "aesthetic"。 I liked the way the writer described things beautifuly and I got shivers and some "oh-wow" moments。The three stars are for those precious moments。 Why not five stars if you liked it, you say?The plot was a little。。 how can I say? I loved the beginning; I thought the writing was rich and colorful, but the pacing moved too fast, and I could hardly stand Audrey's character。 I barely made it to chapter 3。 I wanted to continue, but I'd rather use the time to read a more enjoyable tale。 I loved the beginning; I thought the writing was rich and colorful, but the pacing moved too fast, and I could hardly stand Audrey's character。 I barely made it to chapter 3。 I wanted to continue, but I'd rather use the time to read a more enjoyable tale。 。。。more

Don’t know how to feel about this yet。 Also why did they have to make Rad so murdery in the end?!? Like what?!?! Also the person who Ana was so in love with but couldn’t be with was probably Candela right? We never got a answer to that。 We never got an answer as to why Ana wore that necklace with Candelas photo in it。 Or why Candela was always so reluctant to talk about Ana。 Are you trying to tell me that Audrey didn’t tell Lucy about what Rad did。 How did you explain what Freddy found on Rads Laptop, the reason he was even driving this fast in the middle of the night, to protect his friend! Are you telling me that Lucy didn’t ask any questions that perhaps if the police would have investigated they wouldn’t have found out what Rad did? It’s just a big fucking wtf! Up until the point where they made Rad a murderer i actually quite enjoyed the book。 Like sure it wasn’t without it failings but it was an okay book after all the shit the author pulled on the last pages? This book is sooo good。 I couldn’t put it down。 It was a little slow at the beginning but I fell in love with the characters and there was a bunch of huge plot twists through out the book。 Then ending left me a little mad but I’m still talking about the book to this day。

I set really low expectations for this book which worked in my favour。 While the themes explored were kind of intense and there were a lot of annoying character flaws, I was pleasantly surprised by how invested I was in the story。
